About Us

Who Are We?

Central is people who follow Jesus Christ. We are an independent, Christ-centered, non-denominational church, committed to unity with all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord. We trust the Bible as God’s Word as our final authority and only rule for faith and living. The Bible reveals what God has done in the past, how it affects us, and how we are to live.

We want to live our lives as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, leading others to trust in Him. Christ is the Master of our church and the Holy Spirit is our guide. We determine our own specific policies, voluntarily cooperating with other Christians in fulfilling our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples of all people. We appoint Pastors, Elders, Ministry Leaders (deacons), and others to help lead us toward God’s truth and His will for our lives.

We belive that everyone needs to be transformed through a life-changing connection with Jesus Christ. Central’s LIFE Path for changed lives has four simple components:

Connecting with Jesus
Growing in faith
Serving others
Sharing – the good news with everyone

We believe that everyone should develop each of the LIFE Path components if they want to fulfill God’s purpose in their lives.

We have no “articles of faith,” however, as we have studied the Bible and walked with Christ, we have come to believe and teach several key elements of God’s truth.
