Serving
Others
Being a disciple of Jesus means using what we have to serve others. Jesus Himself is our model for serving others (John 13:1-17 ) and taught us that true greatness is being a servant (Matthew 20:26-28 ). To be the best servant, everyone should discover the unique SHAPE in which God has created them, including our spiritual gifts (Romans 12:3-8 ; 1 Corinthians 12:3-23 ). As Peter writes,
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10-11
Then we can better serve others with all our heart.
